People and Culture

The Division of People and Culture provides a unifying voice to care for the 美狮贵宾会登录中心 community by strategically leading 美狮贵宾会登录中心’s investment in people and inspiring a welcoming climate of inclusivity, mutual respect, equitable accountability and valued performance. 

美狮贵宾会登录中心's People and Culture division is home to four branch departments: Inclusive Community, Human Resources, Environmental Health and Safety and Title IX.

The Office of Inclusive Community plans, leads and implements, in collaboration with university partners, institutional change actions and initiatives to advance and support inclusivity and equity for the purposes of cultivating and sustaining inclusive excellence at the University of 美狮贵宾会登录中心 Oklahoma.

The Human Resources department is composed of two areas: Talent Management and HR Operations & Technology. Talent Management consists of People and Culture Communications, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition and Development, and Benefits. HR Operations & Technology consists of HR Operations, HR Information Systems, and Payroll & Compensation. With an in-depth knowledge of all Human Resources functions and processes, the HR team is here to support 美狮贵宾会登录中心 faculty and staff throughout their experience with the university – from the moment a position is accepted through the day of separation or retirement.  

The department of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) ensures a safe and healthful learning, living and work environment for faculty, staff, students and the surrounding community.

The Title IX Office provides reports of gender-based discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct and gender equity. Sexual misconduct includes, but is not limited to, sexual harassment, non-consensual sexual contact, non-consensual sexual intercourse, sexual exploitation, stalking, domestic violence, dating violence, and other forms of gender-based misconduct. Other forms of gender-based misconduct may include bullying or harassment on the basis of one's actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Reporting Information

Concerns of discrimination or harassment in violation of 美狮贵宾会登录中心’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy should be reported to Human Resources through the EEO Concern Form or 美狮贵宾会登录中心MMENT. More information can be found on the EEO page of The Hub.

Witnessed or experienced a behavior that is inconsistent with 美狮贵宾会登录中心's value of inclusion? Request assistance  from the Inclusive Community Response Team.

Concerns of unethical, illegal or otherwise inappropriate behavior in violation of 美狮贵宾会登录中心 policy should be reported to Human Resources though 美狮贵宾会登录中心MMENT, or alternatively, directly to The Board of Regents for the Regional University System of Oklahoma (RUSO) through EthicsPoint.

Report violation(s) of 美狮贵宾会登录中心's sexual misconduct policy to a responsible person and/or the Title IX Office by filing a report. Incidents of sexual misconduct may also or alternatively be reported to the police.

To report an employee injury, an Occupational Injury & Illness report shall be completed by the employee or his or her supervisor within 24 hours of the incident, and submitted to  Environmental Health and Safety at ehs@water-serv.net. If life threatening, call 911. 

After office hours or on holidays, reports may be made by contacting University Police Services at (405) 974-2345.
